THE LEAD
The DBU Men's Tennis fell in their final Heartland Conference game of the season to the University of Texas Permian Basin, 8-1.

Cannon Jones and Cole Schafer earned the lone win for the Patriots in doubles play.

Despite falling in lines two and three in doubles action, spirited play by Jones and Schafer earned the duo a 8-4 win in line one, putting DBU on the board.  

The Patriots were unsuccessful in singles play, with UTPB claiming all six lines. 

Jones and Schafer, both battled to three sets in their respective losses.
