SCOUTING ST. EDWARD'S
The Hilltoppers began their 2016 campaign with a 5-0 blowout of New Mexico Highlands. In her collegiate debut, freshman Toni Tewes assisted on the first goal of the game and scored two of her own, earning Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors. Goalkeeper Lorrie Santoy, a 2015 First Team All-Heartland Conference selection, was not forced to make a save in 75 minutes of play.

SERIES HISTORY
DBU is 9-18 all-time against St. Edward's, but have bested the Hilltoppers in four consecutive meetings. The most recent matchup came in the 2015 NCAA South Central Region Final, played last November in Bellingham, Washington. Senior forward Ashley Cox scored the game-winner and her 12th goal of the season when she scored on Lorrie Santoy in the 4th minute.
