THE LEAD
The DBU Men's Tennis team remained in Abilene, Texas on Saturday to conclude their two-day tournament. The Patriots fell to Hardin Simmons on Saturday, three to six but came away from the tournament with many positives.

DBU started the day with one win in the three doubles matches. The tandem of
Riley Smith and
Isaac Childs successfully stole a 9-7 patriots victory.

In the singles competition, DBU battled valiantly but were only able secure two victories. The wins for the Patriots were highlighted
Jordan Jackson who fought off HSU in three sets to earn a win. While
Nick Gilmore accomplished the same task by winning in three sets for DBU.

"Men's team fought strong opposition today. They faced a solid line one and three doubles match.
Isaac Childs and Riley smith were down 4-7 and came back to win 9-7. Hardin-Simmons came out with a vengeance in singles.

Jordan Jackson came back to win the match after losing the first sets. Everyone fought with heart, and gave everything they had."Â
