The DBU Women's Soccer team earned its seventh shutout of the season Saturday in a 3-0 win at Oklahoma Christian at Southlakes Soccer Club in Oklahoma City. The Patriots (9-5-2. 8-3-1 Heartland Conference) opened the scoring in the 10th minute and never looked back to complete the season sweep of OC (1-14-0, 1-11-0).
Ericca Everson found the net for her seventh goal of the year at the 9:27 mark. In the second half, Tiarra Hodges finished a breakaway with her second goal of the year on an assist from Melanie Castelan to extend the lead to 2-0. Abigail Olmos put the cherry on top in the 87th minute, beating the keeper with an assist from Melissa Jones.Â
Grace Johnson stopped both Eagle shots on goal to earn the shutout in her first career start.Â

"It has been a long weekend on the road, and we are happy to finish off on a win. We had to battle through a last-minute time and location change, which I think the team adjusted well to. This last week of the regular season is big for us so we are ready to get home and go back to work."
