The DBU Men's Lacrosse Team opened their 2018 season in Stephenville, Texas, as they played Tarleton State University. The Patriots were defeated by the Texans, 8-2. Freshman Conner Haacke scored two goals for the Patriots in the loss, both coming in the second half.

"After a slow start in the first quarter, we got our bearings and were able to hold the second half score to 2-2 with a fourth quarter shutout. We still have work to do, but we made huge progress on Saturday and are looking to continue that progress throughout the season!"
