COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF
The Patriots enter Saturday's Lone Star Conference clash with Lubbock Christian riding a six-game winning streak after a 6-0 win over UT Permian Basin on Thursday.

Emmy Niece scored the first goal in the 15th minute on a penalty kick. The Patriots increased their lead to two before the half, as Alondra Olmos finished an assist from Jayme Woodfill. Kaci Parks logged a goal in the 29th minute from Melissa Jones, and Jayme Woodfill added the fourth of the night for the Patriots in the 38th minute. Jenna Patterson scored in the 64th and 68th minutes making the score 6-0, sealing the win.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
- DBU enters the weekend ranked No. 18 in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches Poll
- The Patriots average 2.429 goals per game so far this year, which is the third most in the Lone Star Conference
- Delaney Schmidt leads the league in total shots on goal this season, racking up 17 through the first eight games.
- With a win, the Patriots will be 4-0 in LSC play.
 
SCOUTING LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN
- The Lady Chaps are 6-2 on the season.
- LCU defeated UTPB 11-0 on September 22.
- Goalkeeper Hannah Wise ranks first on the all-time saves list in LCU history.
- Allison Scott scored her fifth goal of the season on Thursday. She, along with Haley Knesek and Celia Duarte are all in the top five in the LSC in points
- LCU's defense has not allowed more than five shots on goal from an opponent since the September 14th win over Southwestern Oklahoma State.

SERIES HISTORY
The two teams have faced off 10 times since their first meeting in 2013, with DBU winning eight of those matchups. LCU did when the last matchup, however, taking down the Patriots 3-1 at home.
