DBU opened up Lone Star Conference play with two matches against Cameron and UAFS. The Patriots lost both matches 6-1, falling to 8-8 on the season, and 0-2 in conference play.

In the first match against Cameron, the Patriots scored their only point on a doubles win by
Aaron Capone and Richard Carvajalino. Against UAFS,
Aaron Capone and Richard Carvajalino won their doubles set again, this time joined by
Gabe Garrido and
Grant McKenzie with a win of their own as well.

 "We had some major bright spots but we know we need to capitalize better when given the opportunities in some of these matches. This team is still hungry and I'm excited to see what they can do this last part of the season.
