On Monday, No. 1 DBU's
Annie Severide was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Severide scored both of DBU's goals last week, including the game-winner at home against previously unbeaten UT Tyler on Thursday. The sophomore forward also added the lone goal in DBU's 1-1 draw with Lubbock Christian on Saturday.
A native of Colleyville, Texas, Annie leads the team in goals scored (4) and has scored in three of DBU's last four matches. She joins
Parker Coe as the second Patriot to earn Conference Player of the Week honors this season.
Monday's announcement marks Severide's first-ever conference Player of the Week honor.
