THE RUNDOWN
DBU (14-12, 9-9 LSC) claimed an important victory over Texas A&M–Kingsville (17-9, 11-7 LSC). The Patriots committed only seven turnovers against a Javelinas squad that came into the game forcing 16.8 turnovers per game on average.

Jalen White free throws sparked a 10-2 run for DBU. The Patriots pieced together another solid stretch to extend their lead to nine with seven minutes until halftime, but the Javelinas managed to shave the difference to five heading into the locker room.
Â
Cameron Kahn was the first to draw blood in the second half with a three, but Kingsville put together a quick 6-0 run to bring the score to 43-42 in favor of DBU. The Patriots maintained a slim advantage, but a 12-4 run and a 15-5 stretch gave DBU as much as an 18-point margin.
