The DBU Men's Soccer team fell to Oklahoma Christian, 3-1, on Saturday evening at Eagle Soccer Field in Edmond, Oklahoma. The loss drops the Patriots to 1-1 in Lone Star Conference play.
Oklahoma Christian struck first in the 18th minute when Ethan Nakolo found the back of the net to give the Eagles the early advantage. OC doubled their lead just before halftime, as Luca Friederich scored in the final 49 seconds of the first half to make it 2-0.
The Patriots responded early in the second half when
Chase Turcotte netted his second goal of the year in the 49th minute off an assist from
Caleb Centeno, cutting the deficit to one. However, Nakolo would strike again in the 62nd minute, notching his second goal of the match to secure the win for Oklahoma Christian.
