LAST TIME OUT
In an amazing weekend for the program, the Patriots dominated Midwestern State and Lubbock Christian, and Karly Wells became the all-time program kill leader. Aizlyn Dewberry shined in DBU's win over the Mustangs on Friday, leading the team in kills (11) and blocks (2). The Patriots turned in a hitting percentage .150 points higher than their opposition Friday, but that mark doesn't scratch the surface of what they followed up with on Saturday.

Saturday was the day Karly Wells etched her name into Patriot volleyball history, but it was also arguably the most dominant game DBU has ever played. Wells (26 kills) would anchor the offense to a .494 hitting percentage, which is the highest mark the Patriots have recorded in the stat-keeping era (2013). On top of that, Lubbock Christian was held to a -.043 clip, which is the lowest efficiency for a DBU opponent since 2022 (-.067, Western New Mexico).
