The Dallas Baptist Lady Patriot Volleyball Team traveled to Goodwell, Oklahoma on Thursday evening and picked up a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Panhandle State University. With the win, DBU moves to 13-14 on the season, and 6-2 in the Heartland Conference.
After being tied 18-18 in the opening set, the Lady Patriots pulled away from OPSU for a 23-23 win. In the second, both teams once again found themselves tied at 18 apiece, but it was the Aggies that pulled out the late win. Using a .188 attack percentage, the Aggies topped DBU 25-22.
Set three was even closer as the game needed one extra point to determine a winner. With the score tied 24-24, DBU got the final two points of the set for the 26-24 win. The Lady Patriots eventually clinched the win with a 25-21 victory in the final set.
DBU finished the match with a .204 attack percentage and 56 total kills. The Lady Patriots also ended the match with eight team blocks, forcing 23 attack errors for the Aggies.

Kaylyn Frink led the Lady Patriots offensively and defensively as she finished with 13 kills and 16 digs. Sophomore
Christina Steinkruger ended the evening with 11 kills while Freshman
Lauren Pavloske finished with 16 digs.
The Lady Patriots will continue their two game road trip in Odessa on Saturday as they face UT-Permian Basin. The match against the Falcons is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
