The Dallas Baptist Lady Patriot Volleyball Team picked up their fourth conference win on Thursday, sweeping Texas A&M International, 3-0, in Laredo. DBU moves to 10-12 on the season, and remains at the top of the pack in the Heartland Conference with a 4-1 conference record.
DBU used a .192 attack percentage to defeat the home team 25-18, 25-21, and 25-15. The Lady Patriots' 16 blocks, limited the Dustdevils to a .046 percentage and 21 attack errors.
The Lady Patriots were led by Sophomore
Christina Steinkruger with 13 kills and 17 digs, while Sophomore
Becky Swann finished the night with seven kills of her own. Freshman
Lauren Pavloske had another stellar effort with 14 digs.
DBU's seven-game road trip will conclude on Saturday, as the Lady Patriots travel to San Antonio to face St. Mary's University. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m.
