The Dallas Baptist Lady Patriot Soccer Team battled Angelo State University on Saturday night, eventually falling 0-1. The loss marks the second straight for DBU as they move to 1-4 on the season.

DBU held the advantage in the first half with five shot attempts compared to only one by ASU. Freshman Nicole Disevo narrowly missed her first goal of the season when her shot hit off the crossbar.

Destin Connally scored the lone goal of the game when her header found the back of the net at the 64:55 mark in the second half. Karli Maxey picked up the assist as her ball on the free kick found an open Wilcox in the box.

The Lady Patriots will next face the University of Central Oklahoma on Tuesday at Patriot Field. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
