The Dallas Baptist University Lady Patriot Soccer Team cruised to their second victory of the season as they defeated the University of Central Oklahoma Lady Bronchos on Tuesday night at Patriot Field, 3-1.

Chelsea Smith crossed the ball to an open Senior Ally Bales who then blasted a shot past the UCO goalkeeper to score, giving the Lady Patriots the lead 1-0 in the 28th minute.
The Lady Bronchos defense could not hold off the DBU attack as Junior
Hope Adams and Junior
Stephanie Emmert scored back to back goals in the 36th and 38th minutes to extend the Lady Patriot lead to 3-0 heading into halftime. Smith assisted Adams for her second assist of the game, while Emmert's goal was an unassisted shot that sailed right over the UCO goalkeeper's outstretched arms.
UCO was able to squeeze a goal past goalkeeper Senior
Haley Corbell in the 53rd to make the score 3-1, but the Lady Patriots held on to defeat the Lady Bronchos. With the win, the Lady Patriots improve their overall season record to 2-4. The Bronchos fall to 4-2 on the season.
The Lady Patriots are back in action on Thursday, September 23, as they travel to Canyon, Texas, to face the Lady Buffs from West Texas A&M. The game is slated for 7:00 p.m.
