The streaking Dallas Baptist Patriot Women's Soccer Team earned a 3-1 win over visiting Texas A&M International University, Thursday, the club's 11
th straight win. The No.9 Patriots now stand at 15-2-0, 8-1-0 in Heartland Conference play.
Lindsey Eccles struck early with the home team's first goal, knocking in a loose ball inside the box for her ninth goal of the season. The Dustdevils (11-4-1, 5-3-1) countered in the 23
rd minute, on an unusual goal scored by Paige Johnson. The defender sent a free kick from midfield, which took a high bounce, clearing the reach of DBU goalkeeper

The go-ahead and insurance goals scored by DBU each came in the second half.

Overall, Dallas Baptist dominated ball control, outshooting the visitors 16-2. 10 of the Patriots' shots were on goal, while both Dustdevil shots were on target. Edwards moves to 15-2-0, registering one save. Aissa Pedraza (9-4-0) registered seven saves in the loss.
The Patriots return to their home field for their regular season finale and Senior Day, Saturday, hosting St. Mary's University at noon.
