THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist Volleyball team returns home after losing to the Tarleton State TexAnns in four sets. The match against the TexAnns was the lone away match squeezed between two three game home stands for the Lady Patriots. The next three matches for DBU will be vital because it will be a long time before they see the Burg Center for a match as they have six straight road games afterwards. Dallas Baptist looks to move up in the Heartland Conference as they face Oklahoma Panhandle State this Thursday.

MERGENER MAKING AN IMPACT
Since moving to libero early in the season Tadam Mergener has made an impact on that postion for the Lady Patriots. Mergener is currently ranked third in all of NCAA Division II in digs per set with 6.55 and has DBU ranked seventh in the nation in digs per set with 19.48.

MANLEY GOES FOR 100
After posting a total of 29 kills in the past two matches, with a match high 21 kills coming in a win over St. Mary's, Brooke Manley has officially passed the 100 kill mark for the season joining Tiara Gipson and Krystal Wunderlich. Manley currently has 104 kills for the season.

NCCAA KNOWS
The Lady Patriots are currently ranked #21 in the National Christian College Association poll. DBU also ranks #5 in the Central region of the NCCAA.

THE LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots faced off against the Aggies in their second match of the season in Oklahoma on September 6. DBU would go onto defeat OPSU in straight sets. Tiara Gipson and Austin Roberts both had match highs with 10 kills and 25 assists, respectively.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
It has been a rough season for OPSU as they have yet to win a match this season, let alone win two sets within a match. The Aggies have not won a match since October of 2013 and rank last in every statistical team category in the Heartland Conference.

SERIES HISTORY
The Lady Patriots hold a dominant lead in series history over the Aggies with a record of 18-1.
