With an adjusted line up and surprising contributions coming from younger players DBU hopes to keep the streak rolling. On Saturday the Lady Patriots will wrap up their two game home stand versus Lubbock Christian University, before heading to Austin to take on St. Edward's University.

SCOUTING THE LADY CHAPSThis will be LCU's second year participating in Heartland Conference play as they transition to NCAA Division II from the NAIA. In their first year of provisional Heartland Conference play the Lady Chaps went a respectable 17-12, but were unable to participate in post season action due to their provisional status. The provisional status so far has not slowed down LCU this season as they have a record of 6-1 overall, 4-1 in Heartland Conference play sitting in third place. Returning for the Lady Chaps are all three of their All-Heartland Conference players in seniors outside hitter Kacy Deterding and setter Erin Fisher along with junior middle blocker Amy Edwards. LCU currently leads the Heartland Conference in assists (13.9 per set), kills (14.7 per set) and opponent hitting percentage (.129). Â
Â
SERIES HISTORYAs of right now the series record sits at 1-1. The series history between LCU and DBU is still very young with their first encounters being in 2013.
