THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist Volleyball Team started their 2015 Heartland Conference campaign on the right note after defeating Oklahoma Panhandle State 3-0, this would be the second sweep of the season for the Lady Patriots. DBU continues Heartland Conference play as they host, the St. Mary's Rattlers in their first game of the season in The Burg Center. 

SHARING POINTS ARE CARING POINTS 
Through six matches this season, four different Lady Patriots have led the team in points (Tadam Mergener 21 vs CSUP, Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick 15 vs ENMU - 12 vs OPSU, Brooke Manley 13.5 vs AU, Carly Hess 12 vs WTAMU and TAMUC). Carly Hess currently leads the team with 69 points. 

ASSISTED BLOCKING 
The Lady Patriots have done a great job in blocks this season as they have out blocked their opponents 48 to 45. The bigger stat is the staggering number in block assists where DBU has a substantial 80 to 68 lead over their opponents. 

SOLID HOME OPENER 
Since 2011, the Lady Patriots have a 3-1 record in home openers at The Burg Center.  

THE LAST TIME OUT
In their last meeting on November 6, 2014, with both team's Heartland Conference Tournament chances at stake the Rattlers swept the Lady Patriots, 3-0. Kaycie Bird registered 33 assists for DBU, while Tadam Mergener collected 22 digs.

SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
The Rattlers have dropped their last five matches with their most recent being a 3-0 sweep against Drury University in the Emerald Beach Hotel Javelina Invitational in Kingsville, TX. St. Mary's currently leads the Heartland Conference in team blocks per set with 2.38 and redshirt sophomore Megan Isbell leads the Heartland Conference in indivdual blocks with 33 registered for the season. Despite the Rattlers finishing the Emerald Beach Hotel Javelina Invitational winless, Isbell was named to the all tournament team.
