KICK-OFF
The Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team defeated Oklahoma Christian University, 1-0, in extra time on October 22 at Eagle Soccer Field in Oklahoma City. McKenna Namekn scored the gamewinner just 1:51 into the first overtime period to lift the Patriots over the Eagles.
After a scoreless 90 minutes, of regulation, DBU controlled the ball early in the first extra time, earning three consecutive corner kicks. The third one was a charm for the Patriots, creating a scramble in front of the net in which Namken found the back of the net for the third time this season. DBU goalkeeper
Hope Koym picked up a clean sheet and made seven saves.
