Sweeping lines one through three in doubles action, the Patriots allowed only one point, combining for a 24-1 win. In line one, DBU's
Cannon Jones and
Cole Schafer defeated HPU's Edgar Torres and Drew Lambert by a score of 8-1.
The Patriots claimed lines two and three of doubles play holding the Yellow Jackets scoreless, winning both by a score of 8-0.
Isaac Childs and
Jordan Jackson defeated HPU's Joaquin Alonzo and Noah Martin in line two, while
Anthony Burch and
Nathan Lowe claimed line three against HPU's Jacob Hernandez and Isaac Williams.
The sweep continued in singles action as DBU's Jones triumphed in line one 6-0, 6-4 over HPU's Torres, with DBU's Burch taking the second line over HPU's Lambert, 6-2, 6-1. Line three belonged to DBU's Schafer as he defeated HPU's Marlin 6-0, 6-1, along with DBU's
Donald Kelly Jr. taking line six over HPU's Williams, 8-1.
DBU's Childs delivered a shutout in line five, taking down HPU's Hernandez, 6-0, 6-0.
