THE LEAD
Facing two teams on Friday, the DBU Men's Tennis Team picked up back-to-back wins defeating Southwestern Christian University and Bethel College, both by a score of 8-1. The Patriots have now won six of their last seven matches.

In game one of the day versus SCU, DBU swept all three lines of doubles play. The duo of Anthony Burch and Isaac Childs delivered a shutout in line two, winning 8-0.

In singles action, the Patriots claimed five of the six lines and staunch defense from DBU didn't allow Southwestern Christian to extend any game to three sets.

Cole Schafer stood out, only allowing his opponent to score one point in each set played as he won, 6-1, 6-1 in line three.

Against Bethel in their second game of the day, the Patriots swept all three lines of doubles play again, with Jordan Jackson and Donald Kelly Jr. getting a 8-1 decision in line three.

With a 3-0 lead going into doubles action, DBU continued their momentum taking five of the six lines of play.

Four Patriots held their opponents scoreless in at least one set, with Jackson completing a full shutout in line four, 6-0, 6-0.
