THE LEAD
The DBU Men's Tennis Team won their third straight game of the season defeating the Sul Ross State Lobos, 8-1. The Patriots swept doubles play, only allowing one win in singles action.

In the doubles sweep, Cannon Jones and Cole Schafer claimed line one for DBU, defeating Todd Barajas and Brain Arriaga of Sul Ross by a score of 8-4, with Jordan Jackson and Issac Childs putting points on the board for the Patriots as well, winning 8-5 against SRSU's Dean Blanco and Nathaniel Boatright 8-5 in line two.

In line three Nathan Lowe and Anthony Burch completed the DBU sweep, defeating the Lobo duo of Jason Martinez and Victor Garcia by a dominating score of 8-1. .
In singles play despite only one loss, four of the five DBU wins were won in no more than two sets.

DBU's Jones defeated SRSU's Barajas 6-3,6-1 in line one, with Burch claiming line two for the Patriots in a 6-4, 6-3 win against SRSU's Arriaga, and Schafer won decisively in line three for DBU with a 6-2, 6-2 score over SRSU's Martinez.

Jackson extended DBU's lead in a 6-3, 6-4 decision against SRSU's Blanco, while Childs closed out a five set win for the Patriots, defeating SRSU's Gardener in line five 7-6 (4), 3-6, 10-2.
