The Dallas Baptist University Women's Soccer team defeated Texas A&M International University, 2-1, on Thursday night at Dustdevil Soccer Field in Laredo, Texas.
Kristina Williamson scored twice in the final 15 minutes to lift the Patriots over the Dustdevils.
Williamson scored the equalizer in the 76
th minute after a pass from
Emmy Niece set up Williamson for an easy goal in the right corner. With just 31 seconds remaining in the match, Niece again connected with Williamson, who beat a defender at the top of the box and scored the game winner.

The Patriots continue their roadtrip against St. Mary's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Sigma Beta Chi Field in San Antonio, Texas.

After starting the season 4-0 and outscoring opponents 25-4, the Rattlers have come back down to Earth in the last four matches, resulting in a 5-1-2 record on the season. St. Mary's has been held to just two goals in that span.

Alexia Maldonado has been the leading scorer for the Rattlers with six goals in eight games, despite not starting in any matches. Erin Longford and Caitlin McCarrell have split goalkeeping duties for St. Mary's, with Longford playing the past 151 minutes for the Rattlers. In that time, she has made 10 saves and allowed two goals.
