LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots lost at home to Texas Woman's 0-3 on Tuesday. Nothing seemed to go right for the Lady Patriots as they ended up posting season-lows in kills, hitting percentage, assists, and digs. TWU just figured out how to attack against the DBU defense and finished with 40 kills on the night. One bright spot for the match was Madeline Dolberry. She finished with a team-high eight kills. In DBU's last 0-3 loss Madeline also led the team in kills, so she knows how to come in the game and make an impact when the offense is down.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
  • This match will be the first road game for DBU since visiting Texas A&M-Commerce back on September 12th. The Lady Patriots have a 1-2 record when on the road so far this season.
  • The blocking for DBU continues to be a focal point for the team as they currently rank 8th in the nation and 1st in the conference in blocks per set with 2.55.
  • Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick currently has the highest hitting percentage in the Heartland Conference at .320.
SCOUTING WEST TEXAS A&M
  • WTAMU sits at a record of 8-8, but have lost four matches in a row only winning one set in the process.
  • Seven of their eight wins have happened when the Lady Buffs play on their home court.
  • Crystal Thomas, for WTAMU, ranks 21st in the nation in blocks per set and total blocks.
