LAST TIME OUT
In their last match, the Lady Patriots lost their last home game of the season to Midwestern State University in a hard fought match 2-3. Both teams played well offensively with DBU's hitting percentage at .174 and MSU's hitting percentage at .231. There were multiple players for DBU who had a good offensive game with five players reaching at least 5 kills, including Merci Perry who is a setter for the team, but found success getting kills last match. It was a good performance for the Lady Patriots but a tough loss for the team.
PATRIOT STORYLINES
- DBU and St. Edward's are currently tied in the Heartland Conference standings with a 5-6 conference record. With this being the last match of the regular season, this match will decide who will take the 4th ranked spot and plays a big factor in the Heartland Conference tournament.Â
- Despite the loss in the last match, the Lady Patriots have won four of their last six matches.
- The Lady Patriots currently rank 42nd in the nation and 2nd in the conference in blocks per set with 2.16.
SCOUTING ST. EDWARD'S

- St. Edward's now ranks 2nd in the nation and 1st in the conference in teams attacks per set with 41.01.
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 2nd time these two teams have played each other this season. The last time was back on October 12th where the Lady Patriots lost 0-3. The loss came during the six-game losing streak the Lady Patriots had in early October, so it's hard to expect a similar result this time around. With some more momentum going into this match, and both teams knowing how important this match is, this will be a tough match for both teams tomorrow.
