LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots lost their home opener last week against Tarleton State in a 0-3 match. This game was much closer than the score indicated, as DBU showed another good defensive effort and a solid turnaround in terms of their offense. It was still a rough way for the first home game of the season to go for the Lady Patriots, but still a game to be proud of.Â
PATRIOT STORYLINES
- This game marks the second of six straight home games for the Lady Patriots.
- Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick had four blocks in the Tarleton game and she'll look to lead her team defensively again.
- Texas A&M International will be DBU's first conference opponent of the season.
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M INTERNATIONAL
- Texas A&M International is currently on a 3-game losing streak, winning zero sets in the process.
- Their two wins on the season both came in games that went to five sets.
- Junior, Leah McManus leads her team in kills and is second on the team in aces and blocks.
SERIES HISTORY
The Lady Patriots are 18-4 against TAMIUÂ overall. These two teams faced off twice last year with DBU winning both matches. They'll look to continue that sucess tomorrow evening.
