LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots opened up conference play in their last game on Thursday night and were able to handedly get a 3-0 win over Texas A&M International. DBU had a great performance all around Thursday night and looked good in all aspects of the match. This win also marked their first home victory on the year and they'll look to go 2-1 at home on Saturday.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
  • Lauren Nicks had one of her best games Thursday night and will look to help lead her team defensively again tomorrow.
  • TAMIU never eclipsed 20 points in any of the three sets on Thursday, so the Lady Patriots have really shown their a defensive team so far this year.
  • The Lady Patriots went 5-9 in conference play last season, so they will look to get off to a hot start with their second conference game.
SCOUTING ST. MARY'S
  • St. Mary's currently sits at 5-7 on the year and lost their conference opener on Thursday in a 0-3 match to St. Edward's.
  • They also have an away record of 0-3 so far this year. So far, they've struggled when playing a team on their opponent's home court.
  • Channing Hankins has had an impressive year for the Lady Rattlers, as she leads the team with 141 kills and a K/S of 3.44.
