LAST TIME OUT
The Lady Patriots dropped a close one against St. Mary's in their last match that ended up going to five sets. It was back and forth match for DBU and they appeared to be in control after winning the third set by a commanding 25-9 score and taking a 2-1 lead, but St. Mary's came back fresh and took the next two sets away from the Lady Patriots and took a valuable conference victory, as well.

PATRIOT STORYLINES
  • The team captains, Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick and Lauren Nicks both had very impressive performances in their last match and will look to continue that success and lead their team well.
  • Blocks continue to be a focal point for DBU this season. With 11 blocks last Saturday, the team hopes to keep shutting down offensive attacks.
  • Sophomore, Kasey Holand is expected to play tomorrow night after missing the last few games due to injury. Getting her offensive skill back will certainly be a key factor tomorrow.
SCOUTING UA-FORT SMITH
  • UA-Fort Smith has posted a 10-5 record overall so far this year and are currently on a two-game winning streak.
  • Of their five losses this year, three of them have come on the road for the Lady Lions.
  • Anna Demmer has had a great year for the Lady Lions and currently averages 4.13 kills per set out of her 52 sets played.
SERIES HISTORY
The Lady Patriots have played UA-Fort Smith a total of 16 times dating back to 2009 and currently have a 2-14 record against them, so they'll have some extra motivation going up against them again tomorrow night.
