LAST TIME OUT
The DBU Volleyball team will face off against the Chaparrals of Lubbock Christian Saturday at noon inside the Burg Center. Last match, DBU went 0-1 after suffering a loss to St. Edward's on the road.

Senior Kasey Holand led the Lady Patriots with 10 kills and an ace, while senior Katie Nicholson posted seven kills of her own as well as seven blocks. Senior Lauren Nicks provided 16 digs, while sophomore Alyssa Pevehouse registered 10 digs of her own. Senior Merci Perry recorded a team-high 16 assists while junior Strealy Sizelove contributed nine of her own.

  • The match is DBU's final guaranteed match with Lubbock Christian.
  • DBU looks defeat LCU for the first time this season.
  • The Lady Patriots look to record their fourth conference win of the year, to be .500 in conference play.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT

LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN

This will be the 13th meeting between DBU and Lubbock Christian University. The Lady Patriots currently trail the series, 3-9. Lubbock Christian finished the 2017 campaign with a record of 10-17 overall with a 7-5 record in conference play. LCU is currently 16-7 on the season with a 6-1 record in the Heartland Conference. LCU is currently coming off a three-set loss to St. Edward's in Austin.
