THE RUNDOWN
Following a 7-2 opening match win on Thursday against Texas Wesleyan, the Lady Patriots traveled to Wichita, Kansas, and Edmond, Oklahoma, to compete against the Newman Jets and the # 3 ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
 
The Lady Patriots suffered a loss against Newman by a score of 5-2. Caroline Hudson competed well, walking away with a win in singles play and posted a win in her doubles match with teammate Taylor Leslie. DBU fought hard in their match against the No. 3 Bronchos, albeit losing the match, 7-0.

UP NEXT
The Lady Patriots fall to 1-2 on the season as they head back to Dallas to host a three-match set against Southeastern Oklahoma State, Harding and Northeastern State.
