THE RUNDOWN
The DBU Women's Tennis team traveled to Florida last weekend for a three match weekend against Eckerd, No. 8 Saint Leo and Tampa. The Lady Patriots came away 1-2 on the weekend, with a 5-2 win over Eckerd and a pair of hard fought 7-0 losses to Saint Leo and Tampa.
 
In their win over Eckerd, DBU went 2-1 in doubles and 4-2 in singles competition. Taylor Leslie and Grace Gaskin recorded the first win in doubles, with Adriana Carpenter and Sofia Teran following suit. In singles, Grace Gaskin led the way with her 6th singles win of the season. Adriana Carpenter, Ira Vogelmann and Madison Stafford all picked up singles wins of their own to secure the match win. During the two losses, Taylor Leslie and Grace Gaskin won a doubles set, as well as Caroline Hudson and Madison Stafford.
 
UP NEXT
DBU heads home and will host a three match week, starting on Wednesday, March 16 against Ottawa, before beginning conference play on March 18 and 19 against Cameron and UAFS.
