The DBU women's tennis team lost a close match against their Patriot rivals of UT Tyler, by a score of 4-3.

DBU got started early thanks to a doubles win by
Grace Gaskins and
Madison Stafford. In singles sets,
Madison Stafford and
Grace Gaskins got the team started again with wins of their own, however it was not enough for the Lady Patriots to secure the win.

With the loss, DBU falls to 13-9 overall and 3-4 in LSC play.

This match was tough. The ladies are continuing to fight through multiple adversities that are presenting themselves to us with resilience, we just have to keep our nose down while we keep improving where we can. We are excited to play some tough matches coming up to close the year."
