THE RUNDOWN 
No. 9 DBU found two goals in the second half to pass Texas Woman's in the Lone Star Conference tournament semifinals. Annie Severide scored the equalizer and Anne Louthan found the game-winning goal all in the span of six minutes.  

In the first half, the TWU Pioneers took control early, scoring in the 16th minute off a shot by Giselle Gutierrez. The Pioneers were outshooting the Patriots until the end of the half, when they reached seven shots apiece. The No. 6 offense in the nation did not find momentum until the second half, when DBU's midfield was able to move the ball down the pitch. Joeli Benson found Annie Severide outside the box, who dribbled past a TWU defender and found the equalizer in the top left corner of the net. Six minutes later, Sophie Schrock's pass to Haley Roberson led to a cross across the pitch and a powerful header goal by Anne Louthan to give the Patriots the lead.  

In the final moments of the match, senior goalkeeper Breanna Bowen earned two crucial saves to preserve the Patriot lead. DBU earned their 15th win of the season in a 2-1 final against Texas Woman's.  

THREE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

• Patriot goalkeeper Breanna Bowen, defenders Parker Coe and Haley Roberson, along with midfielder Joeli Benson were the only Patriots to play all 90 minutes on the pitch.  

• This marks the 6th consecutive year that DBU has allowed a goal or less in the semifinal match of the LSC tournament. 

• Haley Roberson now totals five assists on the season, and Joeli Benson has two.  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 
3 - Taylor Tufts, Anne Louthan, and Annie Severide all totaled three against shots against TWU.  

5 - Breanna Bowen earned a season-high five saves on the night, two of which came in the final two minutes of the match.  

20 - Annie Severide scored her 20th career goal against TWU, becoming the 11th player in program history to score 20 goals.
