DBU (12-11, 6-9 LSC) took down Cameron (7-21, 3-12 LSC) in a sweep Saturday afternoon, snapping a seven-game skid. In the winning effort, the Lady Patriots' offense posted its third-highest hitting percentage of the season (.346).
Reagan Fifer and
Karly Wells shared the game lead in kills with 11.

In set one, DBU trailed 11-6 before rattling off seven unanswered points after a timeout to bring themselves back into the game. Tied at 20, the Lady Patriots called their second timeout before
Kalin Hubbard, Wells, and Fifer each tallied kills to cement DBU's set one victory.

Sets two and three were dominated by the red, white, and navy. In the second frame, the Lady Patriot defense held Cameron's attack to a .000 hitting percentage (nine kills, nine errors). DBU went on an 11-0 run in the middle stage of the second set, and would ride that momentum to a 25-13 set win.Â

In the third frame, the DBU attack played to the tune of a .438 hitting percentage and landed kills on 16 of their 32 swings.
Reagan Fifer delivered the final blow with her 11th kill of the match, ending the afternoon with a set three score of 25-15.
