After defeating No. 9 Texas A&M on Friday evening and tying the series at one game apiece, the Dallas Baptist Patriot Baseball Team dropped a decisive game three against the Aggies on Saturday afternoon, 14-2. With the loss, the Patriots drop to 32-15 on the season.

Jordan Staples picked up the loss for DBU after allowing five earned runs on 10 hits in only three and two thirds innings of action.
One day after the Patriots put a season-high 23 hits on the board, the Aggies responded in the rubber match by stringing together 17 hits led by Krey Bratsen who went 4-5 with four runs and four RBI.
The Aggies scored their first run in the bottom of the first, followed by two in the third, and three in the fourth to take a 6-0 lead through six innings.
The Patriots finally posted their first and only pair of runs in the top half of the seventh, trimming their deficit to 6-2. Senior
Jason Krizan led off the inning with his NCAA-leading, 35th double of the year, and became only the second Patriot of the afternoon to make it past first base. Junior
Ryan Behmanesh advanced Krizan to third with a single through the left side, and Sophomore
Duncan McAlpine scored the first Patriot run with his RBI groundout. Sophomore
Austin Elkins delivered the second and final run of the day with his RBI single down the left field line that scored Behmanesh.
The Aggie bats caught fire in the eighth as they scored eight more runs on seven hits to run away with the 14-2 game.
The Patriots have one more road game before returning home as they face Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches on May 10. Following the game against the Lumberjacks, the Patriots will return to Patriot Field for seven of final eight games of the season.
