UAFS Live Stats THE LEADDespite a hard fought effort in their last match, the Dallas Baptist Volleyball team is looking to bounce back after their loss in five sets to Texas Woman's University. This weekend they head to Arkansas to face the top team in the Heartland Conference, the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lady Lions.
PAPADEAS GOES HITS FOR 900Erika Papadeas recently eclipsed the 900 kill mark for her career at Dallas Baptist after registering 16 kills against Texas Woman's. Papadeas currently has 914 kills for her career and is the active career kill leader for Dallas Baptist Volleyball.
SEASON HIGH BLOCKSDespite the loss to Texas Woman's, DBU put up a season high in block assists with, 20 and another season match high with, 12 total blocks against the Pioneers. A great defensive effort by the Lady Patriots.
BELIEVE IN BALL HANDLING In their past 12 matches DBU has not had a match where they have committed more than one ball handling error. They Lady Patriots have only committed two since September 13.
THE LAST TIME OUTThe last match between the Lady Patriots and the Lady Lions resulted in a loss in straight sets for DBU.

SCOUTING THE LADY LIONSThe University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lady Lions currently sit in first place in the Heartland Conference and boasts a 6-1 Heartland Conference record. UAFS leads the Heartland Conference in hitting percentage, opponent hitting percentage, and digs. The Lady Lion's senior outside hitter Michelle Walker and sophomore libero Emily Tripp were both selected as Heartland Conference players of the week. The Lady Lions last loss and only conference loss was against Newman University on October 9. UAFS is coming off of a win in straight sets over Southern Nazarene University.
