SENSATIONAL SENIORSKrystal Wunderlich - Grandbury, TXSince arriving at DBU in 2010,
Krystal Wunderlich has received many accolades such as Heartland Conference Freshman of the Year in 2010, All Heartland Conference Volleyball Team selection in 2011, and multiple years of being named to the Heartland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Wunderlich was a contributor on the Lady Patriots team that made it to the NCAA Regional tournament in 2013 and the 2011 NCCAA Regional Championship team. Wunderlich is also the active career leader on the team in sets played (431), kills (1,025), total attempts (3,312), and total points (1,161). Â

Erika Papadeas made an immediate impact for the Lady Patriots as she played in every single match her freshman year. Every year Papadeas elevated her play and was recognized with All Heartland Conference Team (2012) and Heartland Conference Tournament Team (2013) selections to go along with being on the Heartland Conference President's Honor Roll. Papdeas is second overall in active career digs with 969 and is tied with
Krystal Wunderlich as the active career leader in matches played with 116 along with contributing to the success of DBU's 2013 NCAA Regional tournament appearance and 2011 NCCAA Regional Championship season.  Â
Tiara Gipson - Duncanville, TXTiara Gipson transferred to Dallas Baptist after having a break out year at Southeastern Oklahoma State, where she would become the All-Great American Conference Co-Freshman of the Year and a second team All-Great American Conference selection. Gipson's success would continue at DBU as she would be selected  to the 2013 All-Heartland Conference team and receive numerous Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week accolades. In 2013 she would also be the only Lady Patriot to play in all 34 matches and 131 sets to go along with leading not just the DBU Volleyball team but the entire Heartland Conference in scoring with 511 points en route to a Heartland Conference Championship and a NCAA Regional tournament appearance.
Markayla Benoit - Mansfield, TXMarkayla Benoit was selected to the Heartland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2012, where she registered a .261 hitting percentage that year which was tenth best in Heartland Conference action. In 2011 Benoit would contribute to DBU's 2011 NCCAA Regional Championship and in 2013 she would play in all 31 matches appearing in 79 sets helping the Lady Patriots to a Heartland Conference championship and an NCAA Regional Tournament appearance.  Â
Sarah Black - Amarillo, TXDuring
Sarah Black's career with the Lady Patriots she has amassed 101.5 points to go along with 74 digs. Black has appeared in 55 matches competing in 125 sets and has been apart of DBU's NCCAA Regional Championship team, Heartland Conference Championship team, and NCAA Regional tournament appearance.
THE LAST TIME OUTWhen Dallas Baptist and St. Edward's last met earlier this season, the Hilltoppers defeated the Lady Patriots in a, 3-1 decision.
Tiara Gipson led DBU with 15 kills and
Tadam Mergener registered a match high 33 digs.
SCOUTING THE HILLTOPPERSAs the season winds down the St. Edward's Hilltoppers sit in third place in the Heartland Conference and would be seeded second in the post season Heartland Conference tournament if it were to start today (Second place Lubbock Christian is still a provisional competitor in the Heartland Conference). SEU has lost three of their last four matches with there most recent being a loss to Newman University. Senior libero Kelly Jimenez was recently name Heartland Conference Libero of the Week and is currently third in the conference in digs per set with 6.47.
