ECU Live StatsTHE LEAD  After playing their final home game of the 2014 season, the DBU Volleyball team must win crucial games on the road as the regular season comes to a close. Due to their seven game slide the Lady Patriots are currently in seventh place in the Heartland Conference standings and are on the outside looking in, in regards to post season Heartland Conference Tournament post season play. The Lady Patriots must finish strong to have a chance for post season play and the first of their final three road matches begin with East Central University.   
MERGENER MAKES IT A MILESTONEIn DBU's match versus St. Edward's, junior libero 
Tadam Mergener would go over the 500 dig marks as she registered 34 digs during the match against the Hilltoppers. Mergener currently has a team leading 512 digs for the season and is the active career leader in digs with 1,059.    
BIRD SOARS PAST 900Kaycie Bird would continue her playmaking prowess as she went over 900 assist for the season during this week's match against St. Edward's where she dished out 47 assists. Bird currently has 909 assists for the year and her 2,107 assists for her career makes her the team's active career leader in assists.
GREAT AMERICAN SHOWDOWNDBU is 1-1 this season against teams from the Great American Conference. The Lady Patriots faced Southern Arkansas earlier this season in the A&M Commerce Classic which resulted in a win in straight sets. In late September DBU fell in a thrilling five set series versus Southeastern Oklahoma State.
  
THE LAST TIME OUTThe last time the Lady Patriots faced the Tigers it was in 2011 during the DBU Lady Patriot Classic. DBU would top ECU, 3-2.

SCOUTING THE TIGERSThe East Central Tigers are currently in last place of the Great American Conference, where they have yet to win a conference game. Sophomore setter Madison Seiler is currently ranked sixth in the Great American Conference in assists per set with 9.18. The Tigers are coming off of a 3-1 loss to Henderson State.
