THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist Volleyball Team will begin their final home stand of the season as they play their next three matches at the Burg Center. DBU currently sits in third place of the Heartland Conference as the end of the season nears with only six matches left, five of those being Heartland Conference matches. The Lady Patriots final non-conference match up is a showdown versus the Texas Woman's University Pioneers.

STAT STUFFERS
DBU has been filling up the stat sheets all season ranking in the upper echelon of the Heartland Conference. The Lady Patriots are third in service aces per set (1.38) and hitting percentage (.187) in the Heartland Conference and fourth in assists per set (11.19), kills per set (12.10), and blocks per set (2.08).

VERSUS NON-CONFERENCE OPPONENTS
The Lady Patriots, with wins over Lone Star Conference, Rocky Mountain, and Great American Conference opponents improved their non-conference record to 5-3, after going 4-7 in non-conference play in 2014.

DOMINATING BLOCKS
Registering a total of 17 blocks in her last two matches, Madeline Dolberry has risen to the top of Heartland Conference in blocks per set (1.08). Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick and Jenna Elkins also joins Dolberry in the conference top ten with .81 and .80 blocks per set

THE LAST TIME OUT VERSUS THE PIONEERS
In their last meeting with the Pioneers in 2014, the Lady Patriots fell in five sets, 3-2. Brooke Manley had 13 kills and 22 digs, with Kaycie Bird registering a match high 58 assists. 

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
The Pioneers sit in third place of the Lone Star Conference and are coming off of a three match win streak. Their most recent win comes from a four set victory over Eastern New Mexico, 3-1. TWU returns eight letter winners from 2014, including senior middle blocker Hillary Shaffer who is second in hitting percentage (.344) and third in blocks per set (1.06) in the LSC.

TWU has a 10-8 record in the overall series versus DBU.
