THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist Volleyball Team is coming off back to back four set match wins with their most recent being a victory over, the University of Texas-Permian Basin. Next up the Lady Patriots will face the Lady Chaps of Lubbock Christian, who are tied with DBU for third place in the Heartland Conference

BIRD PASSES 100 MATCHES PLAYED 
Redshirt senior Kaycie Bird eclipsed the 100 matches played mark in DBU's victory over UT-Permian Basin. With 101 matches, Bird is the active leader for the Lady Patriots in matches played. 

FITZPATRICK CLOSING IN ON MILESTONE 
After registering nine kills in a win over UTPB, sophomore Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick's career kill total is currently at 92. Fitzapatrick is only eight kills away from reaching the 100 kill mark for her career. 

THE LAST TIME OUT
In their last meeting Lubbock Christian won in a 3-0 sweep over the Lady Patriots. Brooke Manley had 11 kills for DBU, with Kaycie Bird registering 43 assists.

SCOUTING THE LADY CHAPS
Previously competing in the Heartland Conference as a probationary member while transitioning from the NAIA, Lubbock Christian enters 2015 as a full member of NCAA Division II eligible for post season play. LCU is currently one of three teams in the Heartland Conference that have captured ten wins and have won their last five matches, with their latest win over St. Edward's in four sets. The Lady Chaps are second in the Heartland Conference in assists, kills, and digs.
