The Patriots clinched the top seed of the Heartland Conference and will play fourth-seed St. Mary's in the second semifinal on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Patriot Soccer Field. No. 2 St. Edward's and No. 3 Lubbock Christian will square off in the first game at 4:30 p.m.
HEARTLAND CONFERENCE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPSThe Patriots won their third Heartland Conference regular season title in five years last week. The Patriots finished with a conference record of 6-0-2. DBU earned regular season championships in 2011 and 2012.

th in the nation in shutout percentage (.588) and 24
th in goals against average (.615). Ackerly is sixth-best in the country in save percentage (.902).
SCOUTING THE RATTLERSAfter a five-game win streak that put St. Mary's in the Heartland Conference postseason mix, the Rattlers had a tough stretch to the end of the season with three consecutive losses to Midwestern State, DBU and St. Edward's.
St. Mary's is led on offense by forwards Rachel Gurinsky and Kristal Williams, who have each scored seven goals this season. Gurinsky and Williams rank second and third in the Heartland Conference, respectively, in both goals and points per game.
SERIES HISTORYDBU is 10-8-1 all-time against St. Mary's and have won the last eight meetings, including a 3-1 victory on Thursday, October 29.
