THE LEAD
The Dallas Baptist Women's Tennis Team defeated the University of Texas-Permian Basin by a score of 8-1. This was the third official match in three days for the Lady Patriots as they went undefeated during their stay in Midland, TX. 

The match would start with DBU sweeping doubles play. In Line 1 Natalie Gennissen and Amanda Richter would win Line 1 by a score of 8-2. Cassandra Wennerstrom and Liz Slaughter would follow suit in Line 2 winning 8-2 as well. Bianca Tijerina and Maria Fernandez de Camilo would round out the sweep of doubles competition winning Line 3 by a score of 8-1.

In singles competition the Lady Patriots would put on a clinic starting with Gennissen in Line 1 defeating her opponent 6-0, 6-2, followed by Wennerstrom winning Line 2 by a score of 6-2, 6-3 clinching the fifth point. 

In a tie breaker Fernandez de Camilo would win 5-7, 6-1, 10-0 in Line 3. Richter would keep the roll going in Line 4 winning 7-5, 6-2 and Slaughter would wrap up the run serving her opponent a bagel in Line 5, 6-0, 6-0.
