Amanda Richter would win Line 1 by a score of 8-1 against the #7 ranked team in the South Central Region and
Maria Fernandez de Camilo and
Bianca Tijerina won 8-5 in Line 3.
Going into singles play with a 2-1 lead, the Lady Patriots increased their margin with a win at Line 2.
Cassandra Wennerstrom, currently ranked #18 in the South Central Region, beat Lisa Pleskan who has a regional ranking of 20. Richter beat Hillary Hicks 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) to make the score 4-1.
Maria Fernandez de Camilo clinched the match with her opponent stopping due to injury. Gennisseen would lose a close three set match and freshman
Liz Slaughter won at Line 5 over Courtney Dold, 6-4, 6-3.
Courtney McWilliams would lose 7-5, 7-6 (2) in Line 6.
The outburst by the Lady Patriots would give them a final score of 6-3 over the Jets.
