THE LEAD
Winning their fifth straight match, the Dallas Baptist Women's Tennis Team defeated the Tarleton State TexAnns, 5-4. This improved the Lady Patriots record to 9-2 on the season.

DBU would come out of doubles play down 2-1, with their only victory coming from the duo of Cassandra Wennerstrom and Liz Slaughter. Wennerstrom and Slaughter would win Line 2 by a score of 9-7.

In singles play, Natalie Gennissen would prevail in Line 1 by a score of 7-5, 6-4.

The Lady Patriots would fall in Lines 2 and 5, but that would be the only losses in singles competition.

Maria Fernandez de Camilo would come away from Line 3 with a 6-4, 6-3 victory, while Amanda Richter would do the same in Line 4 by a score of 6-1, 6-2.

Bianca Tijerina would close out Line 6 with a 6-4, 6-3 score.
