THE LEAD
Winning their season high eighth straight match, the Dallas Baptist Women's Tennis Team easily dispatched the Harding University Buffaloes, 8-1.

To start the match the Lady Patriots would sweep all three doubles match-ups, starting with Natalie Gennissen and Amanda Richter winning No. 1 over Arielle Butler and Katie Huff, 8-4. In No. 2 Liz Slaughter and Cassandra Wennerstrom would prevail 8-1, over Brittany Smyser and Emily Faulkner with Maria Fernandez de Camilo and Bianca Tijerina topping Piper Huey and Sydni Sansom in No. 3 by a score of 8-5.

In singles competition, DBU would take five out of six matches, with no threat from HU.

In No. 1 Gennissen would defeat HU's Huey in three sets 4-6, 6-3, 10-8.   Wennerstrom would deliver a "bagel" in No. 2 defeating Huff, 6-0, 6-0. No. 3 would see Fernandez de Camilo defeating Butler, 6-2, 6-0. Slaughter claimed No. 5 over Faulkner, 6-3, 6-1.

In No. 6 Courtney McWilliams defeated Kaylie Brown, 6-2, 6-0.
