HIGH PERCENTAGE PATRIOTSWith a hitting percentage of .206, the Lady Patriots sit on top of the Heartland Conference in that statistical category. Sophomore
Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick is fourth overall in the Heartland Conference in individual hitting percentage with .297. Â
SEASONAL SWEEPSSince 2013 this has been the third straight season that DBU has put together three straight 3-0 sweep wins.
NICKS BREAKS FIRST MILESTONEFreshman
Lauren Nicks reached her first Dallas Baptist milestone as she went over 100 digs after registering 12 against Texas A&M International. Nicks now leads DBU with 107 digs for the season.
THE LAST TIME OUTIn their last meeting on October 18, 2014, DBU would fall to UAFS in a 3-0 sweep.
Brooke Manley registered eight kills and 21 digs with
Kaycie Bird putting up 33 assists.Â
SCOUTING THE LADY LIONSUA Fort Smith had an exceptional 2014, as they won their third consecutive Heartland Conference regular season crown and Heartland Conference Tournament. Last season the Lady Lions would also win its first NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament title, before falling in the NCAA Division II Final Four, losing to eventual national champion, the University of Tampa. UAFS lost its top three hitters, but return outside hitter Payton Hamilton and right side hitter Abigail Phillips.  Â
