The Lady Patriots are opening a 3-game home stretch tomorrow night at the Burg Center. DBU has only had the privilege of three home games thus far and this home stretch is coming at a very good time for the Lady Patriots. DBU begins their home stand against conference opponent, Oklahoma Panhandle State. The Lady Patriots will be counting on their electrifying and motivating fan base. DBU will also be leaning on

I big necessity for the Lady Patriots is finding a rhythm while remaining consistent with their game despite the adversity and pesky injuries. DBU has had many moving parts with many underclassmen seeing valuable playing time. With experience comes comfortability that then produces rhythm and consistency. There are many exciting possibilities for this Lady Patriots team moving forward.

DBU has a team full of hard working, strong-willed woman. The Lady Patriots are fortunate to have high character athletes competing on the court. DBU boasts strong leadership from the likes of Seniors
Hannah Ballew and

Sidnee Jo Fitzpatrick has been a stat stuffer this year as she leads the team with 42 blocks and 142 kills. Sophomore Laruen Nicks has been incredible from her libero position, as she has recorded 242 digs and 13 service aces thus far this season.

Oklahoma Panhandle State has had some struggles this year but they still are a resilient team that desires to upset the Lady Patriots. OPSU is lead by junior Kalyn Moore as she averages 2 kills per set. DBU holds a 21-1 all-time record against Oklahoma Panhandle State.
