THE LEAD
The Lady Patriots continue their home stand tomorrow at noon against Lubbock Christian. DBU is hoping for their first winning streak of the season after an impressive victory versus OPSU. The Lady Patriots went back to the fundamentals in practice and that enable them to establish some consistency on the court. DBU will be giving their fans free pizza and drinks to those that come and support at the Burg Center.

LEZAK IS FINDING HER GROOVE
Alexa Lezak is a transfer redshirt sophomore that is finding her role for the Lady Patriots. Lezak has been establishing her presence as a powerful workhouse for DBU as she has now reached 107 kills thus far this season.

NICKS AND BALLEW'S PERSISTENCE
Laruen Nicks and
Hannah Ballew are two of DBU's most daring competitors. They refuse to let the opposition to pick up easy points. The two athletes have hustled and dived their ways as the team's top leaders in digs. Nicks has recorded 253 digs this season, as Ballew is second on the team with 201.

SCOUTING LCU
Lubbock Christian has had a successful season thus far and they pose a strong threat as a conference opponent. LCU has two athletes, Mallory Powell and Christiana Tavo that have been awarded Heartland Conference Players of the Week last week. DBU will be working hard to limit Powell, Tavo and LCU team. The Lady Patriots are 2-4 all-time against Lubbock Christian.
