THE LEAD
The DBU Women's Tennis Team recorded their second sweep of the season, after defeating Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas, 9-0.

To start the day in doubles action. the Lady Patriots made quick work of the Javelinas.

In line one, the duo of Ana Marija Banic and Maria Fernandez de Camilo notched a win for DBU, defeating TAMUK's Mariaxi Herrera and Marijia Dimitrovska 8-4, with Madeline Coffman and Bianca Tijerina continuing the run in line three with a 8-3 win over TAMUK's Erika Larrea Paula Saenz.

Line two saw Amanda Richter and Liz Slaughter allow only one point, in their 8-1 win over TAMUK's Madi Gomez and Nadia Grlj to give the Lady Patriots a 3-0 lead.

The complete sweep continued for DBU in singles play. The Lady Patriots rattled off wins in lines one through six, with Banic easing past TAMUK's Herrera 6-3, 6-2, Slaughter claiming line two over TAMUK's Grlj, and Fernandez de Camilo ousting TAMUK's Dimitrovska 7-5, 6-1.

Coffman kept the momentum going for the Lady Patriots with a 6-1, 6-1 win in line four and both Richter and Tijerina defeated their opponents by a score of 6-2, 6-2 in lines five and six, respectively.
